Honorary chair Kathy Taylor invites you to our premier hunger-awareness dinner and auction, presented by the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma and Borden. The event includes a soup-and-salad dinner, dessert and souvenir bowl handcrafted by local potters to serve as a reminder of the too-many empty bowls of hungry Oklahomans.
During the evening, one-of-a-kind works of art, celebrity-autographed bowls and luxury items will be auctioned.
This year's auction items include a two-night stay for up to four couples in The Lodge of
Ree & Ladd Drummond (aka The Pioneer Woman and Marlboro Man. The lodge is located near Pawhuska on the Drummond's cattle ranch. This package also includes one dinner and easy breakfast, snack and lunch items. The winning bidder will have this chance to bring friends or family and hole up in the country for a few days!
Other luxury items include a private cooking class for 10 people at the Lobeck Taylor home where guests will learn to create an international meal paired with wine at the direction of Chef Timothy Sean Fitzgerald; a Napa Valley Vineyard Retreat complete with six bottles of ultra-premium Napa Valley wine from Far Niente partner Jeremy Nickel's private collection; a private 7-course tasting dinner, cooking demonstration and wine paring for 10 guests by Executive Chef Jeff Marlow of The Oaks Country Club; T.U. football package, including sideline passes and behind-the-scenes tour of the locker room; a $1,000 store credit at Israel Diamond Supply; and an exclusive wine-tasting party for ten people.
