The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma
invites you and your entire delegation to sip savory soups,
bid on unique bowls and elect to end hunger forever
at the 12th Annual Empty Bowls hunger awareness dinner and fundraiser.
During the evening, one-of-a-kind works of art, celebrity-autographed bowls and luxury items will be auctioned.
A number of local artists have donated handcrafted or hand-painted bowls, tiles and other works of art, including jewelry, cross-stitch and a quilt. Back by popular demand are bowls carved from wood by members of the Northeast Oklahoma Woodturners Association.
Autographed items this year include a Brett Favre jersey, Tiger Woods golf flag and footballs signed by Troy Aikman and Joe Montana. Legendary artists, such as B. B. King, George Carlin, Morgan Freeman, Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson have signed bowls.
One of the most coveted items included in this year's live auction is a Wine Country Getaway, which includes a three-day stay at the exclusive Far Niente Winery and private tours of other boutique vineyards in Napa Valley. There will be something of interest for people who enjoy cooking, fine wines, golf, beer and diamonds!
