Recipe to End Hunger

This month's cooking demonstration, dinner and winetasting features Guy Romo, chef at the Garlic Rose. His menu includes Spring Gazpacho with Grilled Shrimp, Seared Flank Steak Stuffed with Guar Cheese and Pesto Served on Soft Polenta, and Stuffed Green Apples. Cost is $50. The event is held monthly in the Culinary Center of the Food Bank, located at 1304. N. Kenosha Ave. Space is limited. Panera Hunger Run
Saturday, June 7
Join us for the first-ever run to help feed Oklahoma's hungry! This 1K fun run (8 a.m.) and 5K timed run (8:15 a.m.) is great for individuals and teams alike. Held at Tulsa's Mohawk Park, registration is $15 and includes a t-shirt. Registration forms available online, at any Tulsa-area Panera Bread location and Runner's World, 4329 S. Peoria.
